Compusec Desktop Security Pre Boot Login Screen
Compusec is a full featured freeware desktop security program. It is simply amazing that a freeware application can have this many features that are usually only available in enterprise editions.

- The ability to lock down a system so that even before Windows fully boots there is a login to enter the system. The Compusec desktop security software can also be a single secure repository for login’s completely separate from the windows log in system.

Hide Folders v 2.2 Freeware Desktop Security
Hide folders is an excellent freeware desktop security application with features that you may only find in paid programs. The program has the ability to hide any folder on your system. One might think that this involves setting the file to hidden under the windows folder options. However, the program literally hides the folder from the “view all hidden files” and “view system files” option. I even tried to find the folder through the command prompt and wasn’t successful. This program could be relatively dangerous in the wrong hands but is perfect for a public computer.
